Installing takes a minute

    Open the download

    Open Taskeni.dmg from your Downloads folder.

    Drag to Applications

    Drag Taskeni onto the Applications folder, then open it from there.

    Sign in

    Continue with Google or your email. Your boards are there, the same as on the web.

iPhone and iPad

The iPhone and iPad app is coming to the App Store. Until then, open Taskeni in Safari and choose Share › Add to Home Screen.

Taskeni runs at app.taskeni.app on Windows, Linux, Chromebooks and Android. Install it from Chrome or Edge to get its own window and notifications.

Common questions

Does the Mac app cost anything?

No. It's free with every Taskeni plan, Free included, and uses the same account, workspaces and boards as the web app.

Which Macs does it run on?

Macs with Apple silicon or an Intel processor, on macOS 15 Sequoia or later.

How does it stay up to date?

Taskeni checks for a new version once a day and asks before installing it. You can also choose Taskeni › Check for Updates… at any time.

Is it safe to install?

Yes. The app is signed with our Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so macOS checks it before it opens. Updates are signed too.

How do I remove it?

Quit Taskeni and drag it from Applications to the Trash. Your boards stay in your Taskeni account.
