Start a timer from the task you're working on, or log the time afterwards. Set an estimate and Taskeni shows how much of it you've used, on the task, in Table view, and in your exports.

One-click timer
Start and stop from the task. Starting a new timer stops your last one.
Log time by hand
Type 45m, 1h 30m, or 2h for work you did away from the screen.
Estimates
Tracked against estimated, with a progress bar on the task.
On every plan
Time tracking is part of the product on Free, Pro, and Business.
A timer that stays out of the way
Press Start timer on a task and it keeps running while you work, even if you close the task. You can only run one timer at a time: starting another logs the time on the first and switches over, so you never end up with two clocks running by accident.
Stopping the timer logs the minutes against you, on that task.
Forgot to start it? **Log time** takes a duration like 45m or 1h 30m.
Every entry appears in the task's activity, so the history is clear.

Support gets this question weekly. Can we add a short table of who sees what?

Added it under Guests. Ready for review once the screenshots are in.
Estimates that keep plans honest
Add an estimate to any task. The task then shows time tracked against the estimate as a progress bar, and Table view shows both numbers in a Tracked column. When a task runs well past its estimate, you see it before the invoice or the sprint review does.

Workload by week
Members → Workload shows each person's open tasks due in each week, with the estimated hours behind them. Click a cell to see the tasks, or drag a task to another person to rebalance the week.
Get the numbers out
Export a workspace's tasks to CSV with Estimate and Tracked columns (hours and minutes), ready for a spreadsheet or an invoice. The REST API and MCP server return task details for your own scripts and assistants.
Common questions
Is time tracking included on the Free plan?
Yes. Timers, manual time logs, and estimates are on every plan. See pricing.
Can two people track time on the same task?
Yes. Each person runs their own timer and their time is logged under their name.
Can I export time for billing?
Yes. Settings → Data → Export CSV includes estimated and tracked time for every task, which opens in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets.
Does the timer keep running if I close the tab?
Yes. The timer is saved with the task, not the browser tab, so it keeps counting until you stop it.
Is there a timer on iPhone?
The iPhone app, coming soon, shows the running timer as a Live Activity on the Lock Screen. Today you can install Taskeni from the browser and use the same timer.
