Five views of the same plan

Every board in Taskeni can be read as a board, a list, a table, a calendar, or a timeline. Switch views and the tasks stay the same, so each person can work the way the job needs.

Five views per board

Board, List, Table, Calendar, and Timeline sit side by side on every board.

On every plan

No view is held back for a paid tier. Free workspaces get all five.

Remembered per board

Each board reopens in the view and filters you last used.

Plus My tasks and activity

Your assigned work across boards, and a day-by-day record of what changed.

Board view: Kanban the way you expect

Lists are columns and tasks are cards. Drag a card to move it, or open it for the details. Two board settings keep the flow honest.

  • A **completion list** closes tasks when they land in it, so Done always means done.
  • A **task limit** per list shows the count against the limit and turns it red when the list is over.
  • Cards show labels, due dates, assignees, checklist progress, and a cover image.

List view: every task in rows

List view groups tasks by list and lets you sort by due date, priority, title, or most recently updated. It is the quickest way to scan a long board or tidy up a backlog with bulk actions: select several tasks with X or ⇧-click and move, assign, label, or reschedule them at once.

Table view: one row per task, one column per field

Table view lays out key, title, list, assignees, priority, due date, time tracked against the estimate, and a column for each custom field. Sort by title, priority, or due date, or by recently updated. Development teams scan it at standup; agencies use it to check client and budget fields at a glance.

Calendar and Timeline: see dates before they collide

Calendar shows a month, a week, or an agenda. Drag a task onto another day to reschedule it, and recurring work shows its upcoming dates as dashed entries. Tasks without a date wait in an Unscheduled tray.

Timeline shows four weeks at a time as bars from start date to due date, with a line for today and overdue work marked. Step back or forward two weeks at a time to plan a launch or spot overlaps.

Across boards: My tasks, Home, and team activity

My tasks collects everything assigned to you on every board, split into overdue, today, and upcoming. Home shows what's overdue, what's due this week, and how each board is moving. Team activity lists every move, edit, and comment by day, filtered by person or board.

Common questions

Are all views included on the Free plan?

Yes. Board, List, Table, Calendar, and Timeline are on every plan, with unlimited boards and tasks. See pricing for what the paid plans add.

Does Taskeni have a Kanban board?

Yes. Board view is a Kanban board with drag and drop, task limits per list, and a completion list that closes tasks when they land in it.

Can I filter a view?

Yes. Filter a board by assignee, label, priority, due date, or done state, or use the one-click chips for Mine, Due this week, and Hide done. Save a filter to reuse it, and everyone on the board can apply it from Saved filters.

How far ahead does Timeline show?

Four weeks at a time, starting a week before today. Use the arrows to move two weeks back or forward. Tasks need a start or due date to appear; the view tells you how many undated tasks it is leaving out.

Can I change a due date from Calendar view?

Yes. Drag a task onto another day in month or week view to reschedule it. Undo (⌘Z) puts it back.
