Install Taskeni from your browser (available now)

Taskeni is an installable web app. Open app.taskeni.app and install it, and it opens in its own window with its own icon, like any other app.

  • **Chrome or Edge on a computer:** use the install button in the address bar.
  • **Safari on a Mac:** File → Add to Dock.
  • **Safari on iPhone or iPad:** Share → Add to Home Screen.
  • **Chrome on Android:** the menu → Install app.

What the installed app gives you

Once installed, Taskeni can send push notifications for mentions, assignments, and deadlines, and shows your unread count on its icon. If your connection drops, the app keeps working with what's loaded: edits you make are queued and sent when you're back online, and a banner tells you while it's reconnecting.

iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps (coming soon)

The native apps are built and on their way to the App Store. They're designed for the moments you don't want to open a full board.

  • A native **Home** with what's overdue, due today, and due in the next 7 days, plus task details, your **Inbox**, and **search**.
  • **Quick add** that works offline and syncs when you're back online.
  • Home Screen **widgets**, **Siri and Shortcuts**, and the **Share sheet** to send a link or text into Taskeni.
  • **Push notifications**, and a **Live Activity** for the running timer on iPhone.

On the Mac: quick add from the menu bar

The Mac app adds a menu bar quick add with a global keyboard shortcut, so you can capture a task from any app without switching windows.

Common questions

Is there an iPhone app?

It's built and coming soon, but it isn't in the App Store yet. Until it is, install Taskeni from Safari: Share → Add to Home Screen.

When will the native apps be released?

We don't have a date to share yet. We'll post it on the changelog when they're available.

Is there an Android app?

Not a native one. On Android, install Taskeni from Chrome (menu → Install app) to get its own icon and push notifications.

Which plans can install the web app?

All of them. Installing Taskeni from the browser works on every plan, Free included, and uses your existing account and workspaces.

Does Taskeni work offline?

Partly. The installed web app keeps showing what's loaded and queues your edits until the connection returns. The coming native apps add quick add that works fully offline.
