Design reviews that close
One board per project, feedback pinned to the image it's about, and a clear line between exploring and approved. Clients see the work meant for them and nothing else.
Feedback pins
Click a spot on an image and comment right there.
A clear approved list
A completion list closes work the moment it's approved.
Guests on one board
Clients and freelancers see only the project they're on.
Share links
A read-only view of progress for clients, no sign-in needed (Pro).
The challenge
Feedback arrived in chat, email, and comments on three different files. Nobody knew which version was approved or who still owed a review, and every round started with a search through old threads.
Feedback on the file itself
Attach a design to the task (drop it, or paste a screenshot) and open the preview. Click Add pin, click the spot, and write the comment. Each pin is numbered on the image and posted in the task's thread, so the conversation and the pixels stay together. Resolve pins as you fix them; resolved pins hide until you ask to see them.
A review process the board enforces
Start from the Design workflow template (Ideas, In design, Review, Shipped) or set up your own lists, such as Exploring, In review, Changes, and Approved. Make the last one the completion list, and a task that lands there is done.
- @mention reviewers; the picker only offers people who can see the board.
- React with Agree instead of writing “+1” threads.
- **Catch me up** (with AI on) summarizes a long review thread, with each point linked to its comment.
Clients in the loop, not in the workspace
Invite clients as guests on their project's board so they can comment and approve. When they only need to look, send a read-only share link (Pro and Business) that shows lists, tasks, due dates, and checklist progress, never comments or files.
Requests and capacity
A request form on the board lets product and marketing ask for design work with a brief and a deadline. Members → Workload shows who has what due each week, so you can rebalance before someone is buried.
How the workflow runs
- 1
One board per project
Lists for Exploring, In review, Changes, and Approved, with Approved set as the completion list.
- 2
Take requests through a form
Product and marketing submit briefs on the board's request form; each lands in Exploring.
- 3
Review on the task
Designers attach the file, tag reviewers with @mentions, and collect Agree reactions instead of threads.
- 4
Pin feedback to the pixel
Reviewers drop numbered pins on the image; designers resolve each one as they fix it.
- 5
Share with the client
Clients join as guests on that one board and see only the work meant for them, or get a read-only link (Pro).
Common questions
Can clients leave feedback without seeing other projects?
Yes. Invite them as guests to one board. Guests see only the boards they're added to. On Free, each board can have up to 3 guests; Pro and Business have no limit.
What file types can I pin feedback on?
Feedback pins work on image attachments. Other files attach to the task as usual.
Does Taskeni connect to Figma?
Not directly. Paste a Figma link into the task or a URL custom field, and attach exported images when you want pinned feedback.
Can we see who is overloaded?
Yes. Members → Workload shows each person's open tasks due per week, with estimated hours. Drag a task to someone else to reassign it.
Is it free for a small design team?
Yes. The Free plan covers up to 10 members, unlimited boards and tasks, every view, guests, and feedback pins. See pricing.
