Client sharing

Show clients the work without opening the whole workspace

Two ways to bring people outside the team in. A share link gives anyone a read-only view of one board. A guest invite lets a client or freelancer work on the boards you choose, and nothing else.

Start free, no card neededSee pricing

Guests are on every plan (3 per board on Free, unlimited on Pro and Business). Share links are included on Pro and Business. Pro comes with a 14-day free trial.

Read-only links

Anyone with the link sees a board's lists and tasks. No sign-in needed.

Expiry and revoke

Links last 7, 30, or 90 days, or until you revoke them.

Guests on one board

Invite clients and freelancers to the boards you pick.

Private stays private

Comments, files, time logs, and private boards are never shown on a link.

Share links: a status page without the status meeting

Anyone who can edit a board can create a read-only link (app.taskeni.app/s/…). Visitors see the board's lists and tasks as a board or a list: titles, due dates, labels, checklist progress, and, if you choose, assignee names. They don't need an account or a password.

  • Never shown: comments, files, time logs, or private boards.
  • Set the link to expire after 7, 30, or 90 days, or never.
  • Revoke a link at any time and it stops working right away.
  • Each link shows a view count, so you know whether the client looked.
  • Shared pages are hidden from search engines.

Guests: clients and freelancers on the boards they need

Invite someone as a guest and they join only the boards you add them to. Guests can't see other boards, can't create boards, and can't change who can see a board. Use guests when the client needs to comment, upload files, or tick off their own tasks; use a share link when they only need to look.

Take requests from clients without giving them a login

Each board can have a public request form. Clients describe what they need, attach a file, and get an email receipt and another when the work is done. Each request lands on the board as a task with the requester's email attached.

Private boards for internal work

Make a board private and only the people added to it can open its tasks. Internal estimates, pricing discussions, and staffing plans stay off client links and out of guests' view.

Common questions

Does a client need an account to view a share link?

No. Anyone with the link can open it in a browser without signing in. To let a client comment or edit, invite them as a guest instead.

What can a visitor see on a share link?

The board's lists and tasks as a board or a list, with titles, due dates, labels, checklist progress, and (if you turn it on) assignee names. Comments, files, time logs, and private boards are never shown.

Can I turn a share link off?

Yes. Revoke it at any time and the link stops working. You can also set it to expire after 7, 30, or 90 days.

Do guests count toward my member limit?

No. On Free, a workspace has up to 10 members and each board can have up to 3 guests; guests don't count as members. Pro and Business have no limit on members or guests. See pricing.

Will search engines index shared boards?

No. Shared pages tell search engines not to index them.
