Notifications
Notification settings and the daily digest
Tune notifications so you hear about what matters and nothing else.
Choose what you get told about
- Go to Settings → Notifications.
- Under What you get told about, turn each kind on or off:
- Assignments: someone assigns you a task.
- Mentions: someone types your name in a comment.
- Comments on tasks I follow: following happens automatically when you comment or get assigned.
- Deadlines: a task assigned to you is due.
Turning one off stops that kind everywhere: in the inbox, on your desktop, and in email.
Choose your email
- In Settings → Notifications → Email, open Email me.
- Choose one:
- Daily digest at 8:00: one email each morning. This is the default.
- Every notification: an email for each notification.
- Off: no notification emails.
What's in the daily digest
- Tasks assigned to you that are overdue.
- Tasks assigned to you that are due today.
- Mentions, assignments, and comments from the last day that you haven't read yet.
It arrives at 8:00 in your personal time zone, which you set in Settings → Account. If there's nothing to report, no email is sent.
Good to know
- With Every notification, the email waits two minutes and is skipped if you've already read the notification in Taskeni.
- Every notification email and digest has an unsubscribe link.
- Invitations and security emails, like password reset codes, are always sent.
- For pop-up notifications on your computer or phone, see Desktop and browser notifications.
