Labels, filters, and saved filters
Labels group related tasks on a board. Filters narrow what you see, and saved filters let everyone on the board reuse them.
Edit a board's labels
- Open the board settings menu (the sliders button in the board header) → Labels.
- Rename a label by editing its name. To delete one, clear its name.
- To add a label, type in Add a label.
- Click Save labels.
To label a task, open it and use Labels, press L with the task focused, or type #label in quick add.
Filter a board
- Click Filter in the board header.
- Choose any mix of assignees, labels, priority, due date (Overdue, Due today, Due in 7 days, or No due date), and completion (Open only or Completed only).
- Active filters show as chips. Remove one with its ×, or click Clear all.
For one-click filters, use Mine, Due this week, and Hide done next to the Filter button. The Search this board field matches titles, descriptions, and task keys.
Save a filter
- Set up the filters (and search) you want.
- In the filter panel, click Save filter, give it a name, and save.
- Anyone on the board can apply it from Saved filters. Remove it from the same menu.
Good to know
- Labels belong to one board. Each board has its own set.
- Deleting a label removes it from every task on the board.
- Filters apply in every view: Board, List, Table, Calendar, and Timeline.
