Reports and sharing
Client share links
A client share link lets people outside your workspace follow a board's progress without an account and without seeing anything you haven't chosen to show.
- Open the board and open the board settings menu → Share with clients.
- Choose how long the link lasts: 7, 30, or 90 days, or never.
- Choose whether to show assignee names.
- Click Create link and copy it. It looks like
app.taskeni.app/s/…. - Send it to your client.
Visitors can switch between a Board and a List view.
What visitors see
Visitors see the board's lists and tasks as a board or a list, with task titles, due dates, labels, checklist progress, and assignee names if you chose to show them. They don't need to sign in.
What visitors never see
- Comments
- Files
- Time logs
- Task descriptions
- Private boards
If a board becomes private, is archived, or is deleted, its links stop working.
Manage a link
- The link shows how many times it has been viewed.
- Revoke it at any time. It stops working right away.
- Expired links stop working on their own.
Good to know
- Client share links are included on Pro and Business. See Plans and limits.
- Anyone who can edit the board can create a link. Guests can't.
- Share links are hidden from search engines.
- Taskeni stores only a fingerprint of each link, not the link itself. You can copy a link again from the browser you created it in; elsewhere, create a new one.
- To let a client comment or work on tasks, invite them as a guest instead. See Guests and private boards.
