Ask Taskeni (the assistant)
Ask Taskeni answers questions about the work you can see and proposes changes you review before anything happens.
- Press
⌘J(Ctrl+Jon Windows), or click the sparkle button in the top bar. - Ask in plain language, like "What's overdue for Priya this week?" or "Move everything tagged launch to next Monday."
- For questions, read the answer.
- For changes, Taskeni shows a list of what it would do. Untick anything you don't want, then click Apply.
- Changed your mind? One Undo reverts the whole batch.
What it can change
Ask Taskeni can propose moving, rescheduling, assigning, labeling, setting priority, and completing tasks, creating tasks, and adding a comment.
Good to know
- Nothing changes until you click Apply.
- It never deletes anything, and never changes permissions or settings.
- It only sees what you can see. Private boards you aren't on stay out of its answers.
- If it proposes something it can't do, or something that doesn't match your boards (an unknown list, say), that part is left out and the panel tells you why.
- The panel shows how many credits each request used.
- It's on every plan and uses AI credits. Requests with lots of context use more. See AI credits and allowances.
- It works when AI helpers are on for your workspace. See Turn on AI helpers.
