Delete your account

Deleting your account removes your sign-in and takes you off every workspace and board. It can't be undone.

1. If you own a workspace that has other members, make someone else the owner first. See Manage workspaces.
2. Download a copy of anything you want to keep. See Export your data.
3. Go to Settings → Account → Delete your account and click Delete account.
4. Type your email address to confirm, then click Delete account.

What happens

• Your sign-in, sessions, and notifications are deleted.
• You're removed from every workspace and board, and from tasks you were assigned to.
• Workspaces where you are the only member are deleted, with everything in them.
• Comments you wrote stay, credited to "Deleted user", so your teammates' conversations still make sense.

Good to know

• To leave one workspace but keep your account, use Leave workspace instead. See Manage workspaces.
