Install Taskeni as an app

Installing Taskeni from your browser gives it its own window, a dock or home-screen icon, and an unread badge.

On a computer (Chrome or Edge)

1. Open app.taskeni.app and sign in.
2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose the option to install the page as an app.
3. Confirm. Taskeni opens in its own window.

On a Mac with Safari

1. Open app.taskeni.app and sign in.
2. Choose File → Add to Dock.

On iPhone or iPad

1. Open app.taskeni.app in Safari and sign in.
2. Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.

On Android

1. Open app.taskeni.app in Chrome and sign in.
2. Open the browser menu and choose the option to install the app or add it to the home screen.

iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps (coming soon)

Native apps for iPhone, iPad, and Mac are built and coming soon. They aren't in the App Store yet. They include a native Home with what's overdue, due today, and due in the next 7 days, task details, your Inbox, search, quick add that works offline, widgets, Siri and Shortcuts, the Share sheet, push notifications, and a Live Activity for a running timer on iPhone. The Mac app adds quick add in the menu bar with a global shortcut.

Good to know

• The installed app shows your unread notification count on its icon where your system supports badges.
• On iPhone and iPad, browser notifications only work after you add Taskeni to your Home Screen. See Desktop and browser notifications.
• The installed app is the same Taskeni you use in the browser: same account, same data, same settings.
