Getting started

Keyboard shortcuts

Shortcuts let you create, move, and update tasks without reaching for the mouse. Press ? in the app to see this list at any time.

Use the command palette

  1. Press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux.
  2. Type to filter actions, boards, and tasks. Matches in task descriptions and comments show up too, and when AI helpers are on, Smart results find tasks by meaning.
  3. Use ↑ and ↓ to move, Enter to run, and Esc to close.

With a task open or selected, the palette also offers Mark done / reopen, Assign to me, Set due date, Move or copy to…, Labels, Set priority, Copy for AI, and Copy link. On a board, it can switch views.

Good to know

  • On Windows and Linux, use Ctrl wherever this page shows ⌘.
  • Shortcuts work on Board, List, Table, and My tasks, and never while you're typing in a field.
  • In quick add and in the comment box, ⌘Enter creates the task or posts the comment.
  • You can also hold Shift or ⌘ and click cards or rows to select several. See Select several tasks at once.
