Reminders
A reminder nudges the people on a task before it's due, so deadlines don't arrive as a surprise.
- Open a task that has a due date.
- Click Reminder.
- Choose On the due date, 1 day before, 2 days before, or 1 week before. Choose No reminder to remove it.
Who gets reminded, and when
- The reminder goes to the task's assignees. If nobody is assigned, it goes to the task's followers.
- It arrives at the task's due time on the chosen day, or at 9:00 if the task has no due time, in the workspace time zone.
- It shows in Notifications, and also as a desktop notification or email if you've turned those on.
Good to know
- Set a due date first. Without one, Reminder says "Set a due date first".
- Changing the due date moves the reminder with it.
- Completed or archived tasks don't send reminders.
- People who turned off Deadlines in Settings → Notifications don't get reminders.
- To get reminders outside Taskeni, see Desktop and browser notifications and Notification settings and the daily digest.
